Benetone Films line produced a regional campaign for Veet Smooth & Fresh, and to boost the positive momentum of people's love and passion for the product, they worked with different female celebrities from different countries. Shraddha Kapoor for India, Mahira Khan for Pakistan, Mai Davika for Thailand, and Leyla Tugutlu for Turkey.
Through the regional campaign, Veet Smooth & Fresh is aiming to further increase the brand awareness across different regions.
Benetone Films joins Italian Film Festival Bangkok 2017
Benetone Films will be part of the Italian Film Festival Bangkok 2017.
We will take charge of the 1st Italian-Thai 90 Seconds Short Film Competition on the topic "Colour of Italy", where “Colour” is used in a broad sense to represent the feel, the touch, the smell of Italy in the daily life of Thai people.
The selected films will be screened at Quartier CineArt on the fourth floor of The EmQuartier from September 12-18.

Italian Film Festival Bangkok 2017
The EmQuartier and Quartier CineArt will hold the “Italian Film Festival Bangkok 2017” in cooperation with the Embassy of Italy and the Dante Alighieri Cultural Association, within the framework of the Italian Festival in Thailand 2017 and with the invaluable support of Generali Thailand as Official Sponsor and in cooperation with Benetone Films.
The IFFB 2017 will screen seven critically-acclaimed Italian movies under the Artistic Direction of Maurizio Mistretta of Dante Alighieri Association. They are: “The Invisible boy”, “I, Harlequin”, “God Willing”, “Perfect Strangers”, “Like Crazy”, “The Francigena Path” and “Feather”. All movies will showcase a contemporary image of Italian culture through the quality of its best cinematographic productions, with genres ranging from Comedy to Drama, from Science Fiction to Documentary.
The Festival's launch will be on Tuesday 12th September 2017 at 18.30 hours at The EmQuartier with His Excellency, the Italian Ambassador to Thailand, Mr. Francesco Saverio Nisio, presiding over the opening ceremony, together with Thai-Italian actress Preem Ranida Techasit, followed by a screening of the movie “Like Crazy” (La Pazza Gioia). A 2016 Italian comedy film, it tells the story of two women from different backgrounds who become friends while being treated at a mental institution. This movie was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
On the occasion of the “Italian Film Festival Bangkok 2017”, the Italian Embassy and Dante Alighieri Association will also organize three important collateral events:
1. Italian-Thai 90 seconds short film competition, in cooperation with Benetone Films, open to filmmakers and aspiring filmmakers in Thailand, Thai National and Expats. It encourages to discuss and produce 90 seconds short films on the topic "COLOUR OF ITALY", where "Colour" is used in a broad sense to represent the feel, the touch, the smell of Italy in the daily life of Thai people.
2. Roundtable on film distribution and co-production on the promotion of Italy and Thailand as "locations" for film-making by the two countries, on the 14th September 2017 at the Italian Embassy (by invitation only).
3. Workshop on Italian cinema organized by the Dante Alighieri Association in collaboration with Chulalongkorn University on 16th September.
Italian Film Festival Bangkok 2017 is held from 12th to 18th September at Quartier CineArt, 4th floor Building C, The EmQuartier. Tickets are 180, 200 or 700 baht for a special couple seats.
